Dr. Shyryll Agader Camat

Dr. Shyryll Agader Camat obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Degree from the University of the Philippines Los Baños. She also completed her Postgraduate Diploma Degree in International Health with a Major in Health Systems from the University of the Philippines Open University. Prior to coming to Hong Kong, Dr. Shy worked as a companion animal practitioner in the Philippines, as well as a research assistant at UPLB-CVM.
Dr. Shy moved to Hong Kong in 2012 and dedicated most of her years working as a senior veterinary technician in the largest referral hospitals in the city. She has had the privilege of working and learning from general practitioners, as well as with the specialists in the hospital. She has been a part of the surgery department, helping oversee daily surgical operations of the hospital. It was here that she developed skills in assisting and preparing for advanced and complex soft tissue, orthopedic, and minimally invasive surgeries.
In 2023, Dr. Shy passed the North American Veterinary Licensure Examination. In 2025 she subsequently obtained the Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG) Certification.
Dr. Shy is an active volunteer to spay and neuter programs, as well as other public health related activities organized by various institutions in the Philippines. She is also an advocate for continuing education, sharing the skills and knowledge she has learned in Hong Kong to veterinary students in her home country.
Dr. Shy is looking forward to her new journey with AMAH, with the hopes of providing eicient and quality care to all patients.
