Dr. Max K.T. Chan

Dr. Max was born in Hong Kong and completed most of his education in the United Kingdom. With his profound passion for animals, upon completion of his first degree in Zoology, he expanded his interest of animals towards the medical aspect and obtained his degree in Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery from the University of Edinburgh in 2015.

After graduation, Dr. Max returned to Hong Kong and enrolled in an internship programme at a referral centre formerly known as Peace Avenue Veterinary Clinic. He then became a small animal general practitioner at a local university institute for five years where he was also engaged in teaching and public education. In addition to being a general practitioner, he developed specific focus towards cardiology and critical care. He is currently preparing for the RCVS Advance Practitioner status.

In his spare time, Dr. Max enjoys strength training, and spending time with his rescue mongrel, Thunder
